Baby, the Clinic Mascot
Baby oversees all activities at the Surgery. He can be found on his perch in the Pharmacy or riding around on a spare shoulder. He has been known to wolf whistle at our gorgeous lady customers and whistles "The Adams Family". He has his own blog at http://mvol.com.au/blog.aspx?cid=726



Dr Linda King
BVSc (Hons) CVA
Veterinarian
Areas of Interest: Holistic petcare, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Preventative Medicine
Linda has been the principal veterinary surgeon at Moffat Beach Veterinary Surgery for over 19 years. (She won't reveal how long she has been a Vet for). She has completed a  Post Graduate course in Veterinary Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Linda and her little dog, Sandy, are regular walkers at Currimundi dog beach. She regularly visits the local schools teaching children about responsible pet ownership.


Dr Vanessa Steele

Veterinarian

Area of Interest: Rodent Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Bird Medicine
Vanessa has been a veterinary surgeon at Moffat Beach Veterinary Surgery for over 10 years. Her special interest is pocket pet medicine and surgery. Vanessa has one dogs, two guinea pigs and a pet rat at home that keep her very busy.

Dr Kate Shipton

Veterinarian

Area of Interest: Behaviour, Preventative Medicine
Dr Kate is an experienced veterinary surgeon who migrated from North QLD for our Sunny Coast lifestyle. Her special interest is pet behaviour. Kate can often be seen walking her beautiful dog Isabella on the local beaches.
Jo McArthur

Jo is our senior Veterinary Nurse. Jo and her husband originally hail from NSW, where they were involved with the greyhound racing circuit. Their most successful dogs were “Dusty Flyer” and “Tilly Appeal”. Jo no longer keeps greyhounds but she still can’t give up the “need for speed”. She is a member of the Coastal Assassins Roller Derby team and loves to skate.

Alex has been working at Moffat Beach Veterinary Surgery since she was 14 years old. She has a Miniature Pinscher call Vika. Alex has a love for wildlife and cares for all the wildlife and stray creatures that come to the Surgery in need of attention.

Tash is our newest team member and a welcome addition to our family. She is a local Sunshine Coast lass who is studying her Veterinary Nursing. She loves animals and has many fur-babies to care for at home. 


Vivian Frearson
Puppy Class Co-ordinator
Viv is a life member of the Sunshine Coast Dog Obedience Club and runs regular puppy preschool classes here at the clinic. Her black tabby cat Spencer enjoy cuddles in bed every night.

Shai Waasdorp

Surgical Nurse
Shai has been a veterinary nurse at Moffat Beach Veterinary Surgery for over 10 years. Shai is a qualified wildlife carer and is particularly interested in bird medicine. Her menagerie of two cats, several parrots and numerous injured wildlife patients on the mend provide her with plenty of snuggles.
